One of London's Best Restaurants Just Opened Its First U.S. Location in Las Vegas
"Our aspiration is to bring great Indian food all over this country-not just to New York, Miami, or Los Angeles, but to put it alongside any of the great ethnic cuisines you get in America, and what better city to do that in than Las Vegas?"
"I really have to tip my hat to MGM Resorts, Aria, and Ari for seeing that opportunity and bringing it to life with us."
"We lose that multi-level townhouse feel-it's very difficult to replicate that in a casino environment-but we were determined not to lose what makes us authentically Gymkhana."
Gymkhana, founded in Mayfair in 2013, launched a U.S. outpost at Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, marking the Strip's first Indian fine-dining restaurant. The new location expands capacity from a 90-seat London townhouse to a 175-seat space with multiple bars and distinct dining areas while striving to preserve the restaurant's intimate, members-club-inspired essence. MGM Resorts and Aria partnered to adapt the concept for a casino footprint, requiring reinvention without compromising authenticity. The brand aims to elevate Indian cuisine across the United States, positioning it alongside major American ethnic offerings.
