WhatsApp's new edit feature allows users to correct messages within a 15-minute window, addressing the common problem of sending messages with typos or autocorrect errors.
To edit a message, simply long press on it (or hover on web), select 'More options', then 'Edit', make your changes, and tap the checkmark to save.
While this new feature improves communication, messages will still display an 'edited' tag, providing transparency about message alterations. However, WhatsApp currently does not support showing edit history.
Limited to a 15-minute editing window and facing challenges with file sharing and notifications, WhatsApp suggests alternatives like ClickUp, which combines messaging with project management functionalities.
