Have We Reached Peak Human Life Span?
Briefly

According to the new research in Nature Aging, life expectancy rates have been increasing but are now starting to plateau. The study analyzed data from various countries known for longevity, revealing that while life expectancies have risen, the rate of increase is slowing down, indicating we may be nearing the biological limits of human lifespan.
S. Jay Olshansky, the study’s lead author, emphasized that humans might be reaching the upper limits of life expectancy, suggesting that future average life spans could stabilize around 87 years, with minor variations for men and women. This conclusion aligns with the data showing that many countries are nearing this average already.
