France is creating a from-scratch collection of pop-up restaurants and dining experiences on a scale far beyond the offerings at any past Games, serving 30,000 diners daily with different menus and formats, offering a dining experience as part of the Olympics.
Temporary restaurants at the Olympics will offer unique experiences like dining on lobster ravioli while watching equestrian events at Versailles or enjoying moules frites and music while observing beach volleyball at the Eiffel Tower.
France aims to highlight its culinary traditions and diverse culture through these temporary dining establishments, drawing attention to its revered cuisine named part of UNESCO's intangible heritage of humanity in 2010.
