There's been a 13-fold spike in poking on Facebook in the past month, with more than half of the pokes coming from individuals aged 18 to 29.
Poking is like sending someone a nudge. They get a notification, but there's no message attached, unlike with X/Twitter DMs or comments on Instagram.
