The containers are stackable when in use and can nest within each other when empty, space-efficient either full in the fridge or in a cabinet. They are dishwasher-safe and BPA-free.
According to Rubbermaid, the containers preserve freshness best with unwashed and uncut produce. Best with one type of produce per container to keep items separate that don't coexist well.
