InfoQ's New Certification Focuses on Practical Skills for Senior Developers and Architects
Briefly

InfoQ will introduce its first hands-on certification for software architects, called InfoQ Certified Software Architect in Emerging Technologies (ICSAET), during QCon London 2025. Led by Wesley Reisz, this certification integrates practical, real-world scenarios faced by software architects, rather than merely theoretical knowledge. Participants, who need at least five years of senior technical experience, will navigate workshops based on actual enterprise challenges. The program aims to address gaps in existing certifications by focusing on applicable implementation of modern technologies at an enterprise scale.
While many certification programs exist, few address the practical challenges of implementing emerging technologies at enterprise scale. This certification bridges that gap by focusing on real-world scenarios software architects face daily.
Participants will work through architectural challenges drawn from actual enterprise implementations inspired by the conference sessions, including ' Architectures You've Always Wondered About' and 'Modern Data Architectures'.
