Zigzag patterns on walls could help cool overheated buildings, study finds

In response to the growing challenge of rising temperatures and energy consumption, researchers have developed a zigzag wall design that reduces surface temperature by up to 3C, enabling significant energy savings.

This zigzag pattern creates protrusions that help in redirecting sunlight and using radiative cooling, effectively cooling the building without increasing its energy consumption.
