Unplanned Domestic Prototype Space / Ismael Medina Manzano Architecture
Briefly

The "Unplanned Domestic Prototype" challenges the rigid structures of 20th-century homes by advocating for flexible, integrated living that reflects modern, diverse social relationships.
The design embraces a curved wall of glazed ceramic, which not only serves a storage function but also acts as a social connector and an aesthetic feature within the living space.
In rethinking domestic space, this prototype celebrates local materials and geology, using a sandstone portal to signify connections to the landscape and traditional extraction methods.
By incorporating mobile devices and fluid layouts, the Unplanned Domestic Prototype aims to adapt the apartment to the evolving needs of its inhabitants while rejecting stringent compartmentalization.
