In April 2025, the Island of Arts (IOA), a floating art pavilion by artist Igi Lọ́lá Ayedun and METRO Arquitetos, will premiere in São Paulo during SPARTE 2025. This pavilion aims to merge art, architecture, and sustainability while revitalizing the Pinheiros River. Designed as an immersive installation, it facilitates public interaction and reflects a collective artistic expression from ten to fifteen artists. The project, part of the AGUAS ABERTAS initiative, addresses environmental concerns while fostering community engagement, ensuring its significance for the cultural landscape of the city.
