Despite commodity price increases, consumer spending showed resilience in early 2024, with expectations for a continued upturn in dairy demand as inflation pressures ease.
Robust trading in the first half of 2024 has led to an 11% volume growth across Arla's brand portfolio, particularly benefiting Lurpak and Arla Protein.
Bas Padberg noted that after the inflation peak in 2023, Arla has reinvested in their brands to provide value to consumers and facilitate necessary growth.
