The Leaves, designed by Davide Macullo Architects, is an innovative tower in Vlore, Albania, seamlessly blending with its stunning natural environment. The structure's organic form mimics the surrounding landscape, featuring interlocking volumes that reflect Mediterranean light and a three-dimensional facade with geometric planters for lush greenery. The prefabricated concrete panels are colored to harmonize with seasonal changes, enhancing the building's integration. Inspired by the geological formations of the site, the design philosophy emphasizes construction that respects and enhances the local ecosystem while promoting energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
Planned to ascend in Vlore, along Albania's picturesque Riviera, The Leaves by Davide Macullo Architects is designed as an extension of its striking natural environment.
The use of prefabricated concrete panels, shaded in five tones to mimic the natural palette of the surrounding landscape across the four seasons, further integrates the structure into its setting.
