Shimmering crystals decorate Jiwan restaurant by Koichi Takada Architects

Australian studio Koichi Takada Architects drew on Qatar's pearl-diving history when creating the interior of Jiwan, a restaurant in the Jean Nouvel-designed National Museum of Qatar.More than four million Swarovski crystals form an undulating ceiling installation resembling the northern lights at the Doha restaurant, which was designed by Koichi Takada Architects and serves food by French chef Alain Ducasse.
