The challenge for the Sarv administrative building was to create a façade that functions as an interactive layer between the building and the environment, balancing openness with privacy. The southern façade needed to allow natural light while protecting the interior from harsh sunlight, creating a dynamic interface that enhances the user experience.
In addressing the architectural challenges, the design team recognized the need for a rich, layered façade that evolves from a flat structure into an engaging boundary. The incorporation of large windows for light and visibility paired with a semi-transparent screen allows for a dialogue between the building and its context, enriching the overall spatial experience.
