The Hong Kong Eco-Pavilion at Maison&Objet Paris features an innovative use of recycled materials, showcasing 3D printed bricks made from water bottles collected locally.
In this design, we actually used water bottles collected from ten different secondary schools in Hong Kong, highlighting our commitment to sustainability and community involvement.
Craftsmanship is getting more and more important. We are both interested in preserving the almost lost craftsmanship from the older generations and embracing new digital fabrication techniques.
As we bring this pavilion from Hong Kong to Paris, we want to be very conscious of sustainability and ensure our materials reflect circularity and harmony.
