PUPA / Life Over Space has successfully transformed a historic manor in Panevėžys, Lithuania, into an art residency and creativity center, balancing heritage with modernity.
The renovation involved restoring the original features of the red-brick homestead, while a contemporary extension was added, designed to harmonize with the surrounding natural landscape.
Built in the 1930s, the manor was restored with attention to historical accuracy, while the new extension incorporates workshops and gallery spaces, enhancing local creative industries.
The interior scheme employs natural materials like wood and concrete, ensuring that the design complements the outdoor environment and integrates the abundance of greenery into the space.
