Path Art Studio and Personalized Residence / Dishna Thilanka Architects
Briefly

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Maharagama, this project embodies a harmonious blend of art, nature, and architecture, designed as a residence and art studio for a renowned metal sculptor.
From its inception, the primary goal was to create a passive-cooled structure seamlessly integrated into the existing environment, preserving the site's mature trees and green cover as pivotal in the design strategy.
The material palette, heavily drawn from natural finishes like granite and wood, celebrates the rugged, expressive nature of the artist's sculptures, ensuring the structure remains connected to its landscape.
The pavilion-style layout of the structure fosters an uninterrupted connection with the environment, allowing the artist to draw inspiration directly from nature and promoting a serene atmosphere.
