Located in Dumori on Jeju Island, OHyeongJae is a unique accommodation designed as five pool villas that emphasize tranquility and connection with nature. The project, which won the grand prize at the 2021 Jeju Architecture and Culture Festival, aims to integrate the stunning landscape, using durable materials like zinc and honoring the local aesthetics. The pentagonal land shape symbolizes balance and harmony, reinforcing the vision of a restful space amidst the serene mountain backdrop, designed to be minimally invasive to enhance the original scenery.
OHyeongJae embodies the philosophy of 'the right to be lazy', creating a serene space for true rest with a design that embraces harmony and nature.
