Nadumuttam House / i2a Architects Studio
Briefly

Nestled in the sacred Kaavu of Kerala, this residence beautifully merges traditional architecture with the spiritual and ecological context of Oachira, emphasizing harmony with nature.
The design features a gazebo at the entry that resonates with the Oachira Parabrahma Temple, creating an inviting space that honors the cultural essence of the region.
Using a material palette that includes terracotta and wooden textures, the residence pays homage to Kerala's vernacular architecture while embracing a rustic modernity that feels warm and inviting.
An open-to-sky courtyard enhances natural light and ventilation, reinforcing the home's connection to nature and sustainability, which is central to its overall design principles.
