Nabi House / Todot Architects and Partners
Briefly

The architects perceived potential in a triangular plot of land for a young couple's new home, despite initial concerns about its inconvenience. They designed a four-story mixed-use building that addresses the contrasting atmospheres of the site. The northern side, facing a busy road, features stark concrete walls to shield from urban noise, while the southern side boasts gentle curves and green spaces, inviting nature into the design. This duality highlights the coexistence of commercial and residential needs harmoniously aligned with the surroundings, reflecting the site's character.
The triangular plot we faced was a paradox, offering both urban energy and tranquil nature, inspiring a design that balances these contrasting forces.
The building's northern façade embodies resilience, utilizing concrete to shield inhabitants from the surrounding city's chaos, while the southern side invites nature in.
