The new firehouse in Dolní Jirčany is designed to resemble rural barns, featuring a gabled roof and rectangular shape that connects visually with a nearby elementary school. Located strategically on municipal land, the building ensures rapid access for firefighting interventions and respects the scale and character of the surrounding residential area. With a polycarbonate facade and integrated wooden structure, the design incorporates three temperature zones for operational efficiency. The large window on the garage facade creates a transparent relationship with the community, allowing passers-by to observe the active role of volunteer firefighters.
