Fragments of Bird Flu Virus Discovered in Milk

The viral fragments in milk do not pose a threat to consumers even though the fragments have been found in pasteurized milk samples.

Experts indicate that if the viral fragments are widespread in the commercial milk supply, the outbreak may be more extensive than reported.
