The new office building for De Watergroep by evr-architecten is designed to maximize urban density while maintaining refined architectural presence, integrating sustainability with green elements.
The facade's design is informed by the surrounding streetscape, effectively echoing horizontal lines and emphasizing verticality through the incorporation of a central green facade.
Unlike the former office building, the new design lowers the ground-floor level, enhancing views into the courtyard and reinforcing visual connections with the neighborhood.
Sustainability was a priority, achieving a BREEAM certification, with climbing plants and green roofs fully enveloping the building's facades as a natural integration.
