This project was undertaken to rebuild aging employee cafeterias with an aim to connect people with nature and each other, transcending the simple provision of meals.
The design effectively utilizes the site's natural advantages while reflecting the founder's philosophy of manufacturing and research in harmony with nature, emphasizing employee wellness.
With a focus on creating open interior spaces, the design maximizes natural light, promoting communication among employees and potentially serving as a satellite office.
The building features a hybrid structure that combines reinforced concrete and steel, creating a sense of continuity with the natural surroundings through thoughtful arrangement of materials.
