Ceramic Pages transforms the former Zisha Second Factory into a ceramic-themed bookstore, intertwining architecture and pottery-making to create a vibrant cultural hub.
The design unfolds through three levels, each symbolizing a stage in the pottery-making process and personal growth, with unique areas dedicated to each phase.
The ground floor evokes beginnings with earthy-yellow interiors, symbolizing the transition from raw clay to refined creation, enhancing the storytelling of the craft.
A striking 'spout' connects floors, introducing skylight and metaphorically tying pottery-making stages, while a vibrant café on the first floor immerses visitors in the kiln stage.
