Casu Residence / Belen Ilarri Studio
Briefly

The project rehabilitates a modest family winery from the 1930s, balancing the preservation of its historical identity with modern comfort and functionality.
By adding a new outdoor patio, the design enhances natural light and ventilation within the home, making the interior feel spacious and inviting.
The introduction of a curving, ergonomic staircase improves circulation and connects the main living area to the historically significant lower level wine storage.
Preserving the original texture of the walls while adding modern comfort creates a warm and authentic atmosphere, blending the history of the winery with contemporary living.
