auba studio's sleek steel intervention turns former warehouse into fitness center in spain
Briefly

In the renovation of a former industrial warehouse into a contemporary Hyrox fitness center, auba studio and Javier Oliver harmoniously integrated functional elements while preserving the original scale and character.
The elongated volume housing the changing rooms is carefully designed to avoid disrupting the expansive exercise area, thus maintaining the focus on fitness activities.
Constructed from concrete and topped with a light wooden slab, the new volume provides essential facilities while reinforcing the industrial yet fluid character of the overall design.
The organic geometry of the new structure allows it to respond dynamically to the needs of the fitness space, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
