Atelier XÜK, in collaboration with the Architecture School of Southeast University, has unveiled the Huanglong Mountain Zisha Mineral Source Museum in Dingshu, Jiangsu, preserving significant Zisha clay mining heritage. The museum creatively integrates the No. 4 Zisha mine ruins, emphasizing minimal intervention and historical restoration. Opened as a cultural relic since 2009, the museum showcases the rich history of Chinese ceramics within the pottery capital. Its glazed ceramic tile facade harmonizes with the landscape, ensuring an immersive visitor experience that connects the ruins with modern architecture.
