Through painting I want to explore the mental space from which memories, true or false, appear out of and disappear into. Where unsolicited thoughts, dreams, and the strange sensations of nostalgia and déjà vu emerge.
The resulting images aspire to be authentic and sincere, to resonate first with the eyes and then reverberate through the viewer's own internal world.
