Deliver at All Costs casts players as a 1950s delivery driver, featuring destructible environments and chaotic gameplay. While the game shines in specific high-stakes missions, such as a thrilling chase to steal a delivery from a rival truck, it ultimately suffers from a lack of cohesion. Missions vary widely in enjoyment, with many either failing to engage or relying on repetitive mechanics. This inconsistency detracts from what could have been a more exhilarating experience, leaving players craving a stronger core hook throughout their time behind the wheel.
Instead each mission varies wildly in content and quality. Some are passably enjoyable, including one that involves taking photos of a UFO while avoiding its laser beam.
This one frantic mission is by far the best part of the game, and if the rest of Deliver at All Costs followed a similar path... then there would no doubt be a few more stars stuck to this review.
