"There's none of the sort of type of training and guardrails you would expect to see in a police procedure or in a training module around how you interact with members of the public," said Beth Haroules, a senior staff attorney at NYCLU.
"You're not allowed to interrogate somebody about their private health information, or family member's or loved one's health information, including whether or not you're just Covid cautious," Haroules continued, highlighting the oversight by county law enforcement.
