Before Daylight
Briefly

The El Diablo served at Trader Vic's was made with tequila, lime, ginger ale, and a splash of crème de cassis (black currant liqueur). This riff swaps tequila for mezcal, skips cassis, and uses blackberry syrup, sweet vermouth. Ideal for hot summer days.
Bruce Cost Ginger Ale is recommended for its robust ginger flavor not found in typical ginger ales. When preparing the cocktail, add the soda first so the heavier mix with mezcal sinks down, automatically blending the drink.
