Broche Coffee Shop / NAAW
Briefly

The Broche coffee shop project prioritized sustainability by incorporating mycelium panels, creating warmth and inviting aesthetics while respecting the historic context of Oxford.
By replacing windows with sliding wooden ones and enhancing public spaces with new tiles and benches, we created a cozy urban environment at a busy intersection.
We collaborated with Grown Bio on unique mushroom-inspired designs and aimed to prove that mycelium is not just an ephemeral material but viable for functional public design.
The coffee shop showcases sustainability with biodegradable packaging, making it align with the values of both the project and the shop owners.
