The 14 th manager in the 23-year history of the Lexington Legends is a former major league baseball player who shares the same last name as the team's new owners.Barry Lyons, who played catcher for the New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, California Angels and Chicago White Sox across seven major league seasons from 1986-1995 will be the first manager for Lexington's minor league baseball team since new owners Nathan and Keri Lyons bought the team in October.
