I am writing regarding the police torture scandal involving former Chicago Cmdr.Jon Burge.Because of the things many African American men suffered, I ask for a memorial to be built to remember the victims, and it would also educate those who do not know about the scandal.For those who are not aware, Burge was accused of participating in or approving the torture of more than 100 African American men from 1972 to 1991.
