Jon Duncan was appointed the temporary executive director of the Housing Authority of Cook County on Wednesday.Duncan currently serves as general counsel for the housing authority and will continue to perform those duties.He has been at the agency since 2011.His appointment comes as Richard Monocchio exited his role of 12 years as the executive director last week to become the Department of Housing and Urban Development's principal deputy assistant secretary for public and Indian housing Monday.
