Alderman moves dozens of migrants into temporary shelter in Pilsen

Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez, 25th, opened a makeshift shelter in a vacant warehouse in Pilsen on Tuesday evening to house dozens of migrants without a place to sleep, as thousands of asylum-seekers have come to the city over the past three weeks.He said he decided to move 70 migrants, making up about 30 families, into the shelter.
