Bruno Fernandes expressed that he didn’t believe he deserved the red card, stating, "I didn’t go with the studs. It’s never a red card. Even James Maddison when he gets up he said it’s not a red card." He also suggested that VAR should have reviewed the incident more closely.
Fernandes remarked on the implications of his dismissal, stating, "I want to say, I left my teammates one man down. I appreciate everything they did on the pitch obviously was tougher for them...
