On Oct. 4 around 2:50 p.m., two male suspects on a moped approached a 22-year-old victim outside Hotel Chelsea, threatening him with knives during a robbery.
The suspects forcibly removed the victim's necklace, valued at approximately $1,100, before fleeing eastbound on 23rd Street just prior to the police's arrival.
Following the incident, EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and is currently in stable condition.
Surveillance images of the suspects and the moped have been released by police, who continue to investigate the incident and seek tips from the public.
