Burnley boss Vincent Kompany has been fined £10,000 and suspended from the touchline for two matches following misconduct at their Premier League game against Chelsea FC on Saturday 30 March, the FA confirmed.
The Football Association stated that Kompany's ban includes one match to be served right away and another suspended until 31 December 2024, along with the fine, due to improper behavior towards a match official.
Kompany addressed the issue of declining refereeing standards in the Premier League, highlighting his concerns about the quality of officiating and the impact of VAR despite expressing regret over his own conduct.
