Jaguar Land Rover, owned by Tata Motors, will not be shipping any new vehicles to the UK, marking the first time since WWII that UK buyers can't choose a Jaguar.
This transition comes as Jaguar plans to transition entirely to electric vehicles by 2026, following the UK government's push for a green industrial revolution.
Jaguar's first electric vehicle, the I-Pace, debuted in 2018, but the company has since halted production of its gas-powered models to focus on future EV releases.
The decision to go all-electric is framed within a broader strategy to align with environmental goals, reflecting a significant shift in the luxury car market.
