Woman (35) dies in hospital three weeks after Limerick crash

The 35-year-old woman, critically injured in a collision between a car and a bus carrying children, was airlifted to Cork University Hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
Gardaí confirmed that the matter has been referred to Gsoc under Section 102 of the Garda Síochana Act, following a tragic road traffic incident involving an off-duty Garda driving.
Gsoc has stated that they are reviewing the collision incident at Ballylanders which occurred on October 26, confirming that the referral was made by a Garda Superintendent.
While the bus carried several children, none were seriously injured. However, the tragic outcome for the woman highlights the severe consequences of road traffic accidents.
