Although EV sales reached a record of 382,000 in 2024, they still represent only 2.7% of all vehicles on the road. Many drivers express a desire for government incentives such as grants and tax benefits to encourage the transition, but 57% do not plan to switch to electric vehicles, with only 6% currently owning one.

Although 2024 was a record year for switching to electric, with 382k EVs sold across last year, demand is still slow, representing just 2.7% of all vehicles.
