Two teens arrested as gardai seize three guns and ammo at checkpoint in Co Kerry

During a routine traffic checkpoint, Officers from the Kerry Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle after the driver failed a roadside drug test. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of three firearms along with a significant amount of ammunition, all of which will undergo ballistic examination. Two teenage males were arrested and are currently detained as part of an ongoing investigation under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
