A man died in Maine after being hit by a detached tire from a vehicle. The incident took place on I-95 near Gray and Cumberland, involving a GMC Sierra pickup and a Mercedes sedan.
Along with the fatality, a motorcycle accident also occurred as a result of the traffic slow down near the crash site. The woman involved in the motorcycle accident sustained nonlife-threatening injuries and was taken to Maine Medical Center.
