Tesla recalls 125K vehicles to fix issue with seat belt warning system

The affected Teslas have an issue where the seat belt warning light and chime may not activate correctly when the driver is unbelted, leading to a software update for a fix.

The NHTSA highlighted that the software update will eliminate reliance on the driver seat occupancy switch and solely use the driver seat belt buckle and ignition status for seat belt reminders.
