Tesla China starts 2025 on a strong note with 5,500 registrations

However, this figure indicates a significant quarter-over-quarter improvement of 205.6% and a yearly improvement of 71.9%. Notably, despite the drop from the prior week, it was still the second-best week for Tesla China at the start of the quarter.
In December 2024, Tesla China achieved remarkable sales figures, with 93,766 vehicles sold wholesale, and a record 83,000 in the domestic market. This represented a 12.8% increase in domestic sales compared to November. Overall, in Q4, Tesla sold approximately 196,900 vehicles in China, accounting for about 40% of its global deliveries of 495,570 units.
