Xiaomi Auto's SU7, launched in March 2024, achieved nearly 90,000 orders in just 24 hours, making it possibly the fastest-selling car ever.
The SU7 Ultra version, boasting more than 1,500 horsepower, set a new Nurburgring lap record, significantly outperforming rivals like the Rimac Nevera and Porsche Taycan.
Despite its impressive capabilities, the Nurburgring record was set by a prototype that isn't street legal, and previous records were held by other electric vehicles.
Xiaomi Auto's sales forecast for 2024 has been raised from 76,000 to 130,000, surpassing XPeng's deliveries in a comparable timeframe.
