New fast-charging stations for electric cars will soon be coming to the Bronx and Brooklyn, supporting areas with high demand from cab drivers.
According to the Department of Transportation, two new electric vehicle charging station will open - one in each borough, enhancing EV infrastructure.
The DOT says chargers at the station will fill cars to almost full capacity in as quickly as 20 minutes, improving convenience for drivers.
The new stations at Bensonhurst Municipal Field and White Plains Road Municipal Field reflect the collaboration of the DOT and Taxi and Limousine Commission.
