Hyundai's initiative to distribute free CCS to Tesla NACS adapters to its EV customers from Q1 2025 will enhance accessibility to over 20,000 Tesla Supercharger stations.
The free adapter offer applies to older models such as Kona Electric, Ioniq hatchback, and newer models including the upcoming 2025 Ioniq 5 and 6, enhancing charging options.
Owners of Hyundai's CCS-native EVs will soon be able to connect to Tesla's vast charging network, but will need to wait for the officially distributed adapters.
Kia, Hyundai's sister brand, is also planning to provide free NACS adapters, further expanding charging solutions for its electric vehicle customers.
